A young athlete, Dan Clifton, has been at the top of his school for years but has his world turned upside-down when his past catches up to him and he is kidnapped by a serial killer. The serial killer seeks revenge on Dan after he took his high school status, as well as taking away the love of his life. The local police department, led by the stubborn and determined Detective Wright are working tirelessly to catch the killer.  Weeks into the investigation someone close to the detective is murdered by the serial killer. The police chief, Chief Jones, takes him off the case as he is too emotionally close, however, he will stop to seek justice for the victims families, even if it jeopardises his job. When the young athlete is kidnapped, his girlfriend, Kit Greenway is sent a recording of the boy explaining his past and is sent a location. Can Detective Wright figure out the location and the identity of the final target?.
